The Pepper Cat Post is made with traditional wood products. We do not use ANY type of particle board in the construction of our products. The sturdy posts are made from untreated 2x4's that are bolted together. Shelves are made from plywood, and screws - never nails - are used in the assembly process.

Our cat furniture is covered with a cut-pile plush commercial grade carpet that is extremely durable. Carpeting is attached by staples - no glue is ever used.
